Terms and Conditions
Services of a professional Blue Badge Driver-Guide with a fully licensed and insured motor vehicle within the time and mileage as instructed and arranged, including the Driver-Guide’s fee and all vehicle expenses except as below. Government taxes. All other services as instructed and agreed.
The London congestion charge. Entrance charges, meals, gratuities, etc. All incidental expenses should be settled directly, or can be put on account and/or billed to a credit card. Charges for extra services should be agreed at the time.
A non-refundable deposit of 10% of the estimated total charges, plus deposits required by suppliers, will confirm the booking, with the balance payable no later than 28 days before services commence.
Payment will be in £-Sterling – by cash, electronic transfer with any charges paid at source, or credit card (American Express, Visa or MasterCard).
As I am a sole trader (along with most of my suppliers), cancellations have a significant impact. It is necessary therefore to adhere strictly to this cancellation policy.

Up to 14 days
Full refund less the deposit, non-refundable payments to suppliers and other out of pocket expenses. Charges for services rendered and administration may apply.
13 to 8 days
Charges will include 50% of driver-guiding services, non refundable payments to suppliers and out of pocket expenses.
7 days to 48 hours
Charges will include 75% of driver-guiding services, non refundable payments to suppliers and out of pocket expenses.
After 48 hours
No refund on driver-guiding services, although an allowance may be given for unused mileage. Further charges will include non-refundable payments to suppliers.
Cancellation insurance is recommended.
If I am not able to undertake an assignment personally, the services of another suitably qualified person (Blue Badge Guide or Chauffeur, or a combination of the two, depending on requirements) will be offered. In such cases every effort will be made to remain within the published tariff. If suppliers’ fees do not allow this, you will be advised at the outset.
Change of Availability
If my availability changes, which results in my not being able to undertake a booked assignment personally, a suitable replacement will be provided as above. Adequate notice will be given to the client and there will be no increase in the price agreed. If the client prefers to cancel the booking, a full refund will be made.
Although drivers of private hire vehicles are not yet governed by working-time legislation, adequate breaks for rest and refreshment are essential for the continued safety and comfort of passengers.
Passengers are not allowed to smoke in the car. The law prohibits smoking in a Private Hire vehicle.
Luggage space in the Renault Grand Espace is ample for up to four passengers but it does reduce when more people are carried. Over-sized cases use the space inefficiently and therefore are not recommended. No responsibility is taken for luggage that cannot be accommodated.
I assume no liability for any injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity however caused, and I am not responsible for any resulting additional expenses incurred. Baggage and all personal effects are carried entirely at the owner’s risk. Appropriate insurance is recommended.
